What Has Miles Been Up To Lately?

Miles has been up to a lot lately...

He got to swing at the park.

He had ravioli for the first time (and loved it!).

He got to go to the beach!  Although he did not enjoy it (we later found out he was sick with a fever and double ear infection).

He turned 11 Months Old!!

He got to take a trip to Kansas City!  One the way there, he stayed at a hotel.

He got to attend Aunt Cassie's bridal shower.

On the way home, he got to eat at Interstate BBQ and Wendy's!!  "I'll have a cheeseburger - hold the meat!"


Now, back at home and recovering from the ear infections, Miles got to enjoy his favorite dish - SPAGHETTI!!!!!   Good thing it was bath night!

Doors

Miles has been fascinated with doors for a few weeks now....  ever since he started crawling.  He crawls around and sees a door, then just stops and opens and closes it....  open and close, open and close, repeat, repeat, repeat!

Now he has found the kitchen and bathroom cabinet doors.  He can roll on up with his walker and check out the cabinet doors to his heart's content.

More Videos

A week and a half ago, Miles came home from day care and decided to walk with his walker all by himself.  The pace was slow and looked a bit shaky, but he knew what he was doing.


Back to the present day he's now a speed demon, running into walls and cabinets, taking no prisoners! We just need to get the turning down.


Miles also appears to have a new favorite toy.  It's the lid from his cookie jar.  He loves to put the lid on the cookie jar, take the lid off, put the lid on, take the lid off, change his sitting position, put the lid on, take the lid off....  You get the idea.  The lid also makes great sound effects.  You can slam it against the ground or slide it along the floor.  It's so fascinating!!!
