4D Ultrasound

Today we had a 4D Ultrasound. The little guy was asleep the whole time (which was no surprise given that he was up all night according to Melanie), so we didn't get to see much movement. We did some good shots of the face though (most of time he had his hand AND FOOT next to his face). Here's the video with pictures below.

Around 12:17 you can see him open and close his mouth!

It's the Final Countdown!

The 3rd trimester is here and we have begun the final countdown.

Some big changes are happening as you can see. Here's Melanie in Week 23 and again wearing the same shirt in Week 28. According to all the books, in the last few weeks Baby Blackwell has doubled in size. Despite the growth spurt, Melanie is doing great and looking as good as ever!

Presents from Aunt Cassie!

Cassie sent us a little care package in the mail last week (it was mostly baby stuff, but kind of a care package since she sent some Pop Tarts for Melanie). Thanks, Cassie!

A Visit from Aunt Sharon

This past week we had a visitor down in Southern Mississippi - Melanie's aunt, Sharon! We got to watch some Mizzou basketball, eat Pork Chops Susanna, shop, and watch a bunch of movies (i.e. "License to Drive," "The Help," and "The Descendents").

Naturally, she came bearing gifts for the little guy.

She also brought some gifts from Aunt Donna (thanks, Donna).

Of course, what visit to Hattiesburg would be complete with out a rousing trip to Treasure Hunt? Apparently they had some great deals that just couldn't be passed up - like these bath towels.
